Introduction:
Qasidah Burdah is the famous poem written by Imaam Sharaf Uddin Muhammad Al
Buseeri (608 - 695 AH), in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him).
He wrote this poem when he suffered from a stroke. One night the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
appeared in his dream and Imaam Buseeri recited this poem in front of Him. The
Holy Prophet (pbuh) gave him a garment (Burdah) and prayed for him. When he woke
the next morning, Imaam Buseeri was miraculously cured from his illness.

The best and perfect creation that you’ve created

Wal fareeqaini min urbiw wa min ajami

Huwal habeeb ulazee turjaa shafaa atuhu

When I wake up in the morning I praise Allah
‘Al hamdu lillahillazee ah yaanaa’
